Authorities are searching for Jacob Allen Morley, a Tennessee inmate convicted of murder, after his escape. The escape has also led to an investigation into a bank robbery at gunpoint in Wisconsin. The information available does not say whether Morley has been charged in connection with the robbery or establish his role in it.
A vehicle reported as stolen was later found abandoned in Wisconsin, according to the provided information. Morley’s initial escape vehicle was also found abandoned, in Illinois. No details were provided about when or where either vehicle was recovered, or whether investigators have linked the vehicles to the Wisconsin robbery.
The search for Morley remains the central development described. The identities of the authorities conducting the search and investigation were not provided, nor was information about where Morley was last seen, how he escaped, or when the escape occurred. The summary also does not state whether anyone was injured during the robbery or provide details about the amount of money involved.
Authorities’ next steps, the status of the investigation and any additional information about the search were not included in the available account. The details provided establish that Morley escaped from custody, that authorities are searching for him, and that the escape prompted an investigation involving a Wisconsin bank robbery and vehicles found abandoned in Wisconsin and Illinois.
