Champaign Urbana & Springfield Decatur, IL, October 25, 2026 —
A custom-built Acura NSX roadster featured in Marvel’s The Avengers as Tony Stark’s car is being auctioned on Cars & Bids. The vehicle’s highest bid stood at $98,000 as of Sunday, and the auction is scheduled to conclude Friday.
The concept vehicle has custom Iron Man-themed paint and a screen-used license plate, according to the available description. It cannot be registered for use on public roads. The listing therefore concerns a vehicle that is not eligible for public-road registration, rather than a road-registered car.
The summary provided does not specify the auction’s calendar dates, the vehicle’s model year, its seller, or the reason it cannot be registered. It also does not provide the final sale price or say whether the vehicle will sell. The $98,000 figure is the highest bid reported as of Sunday, not a confirmed sale amount.
The vehicle’s connection to the film and its custom detailing are the distinguishing details included in the description. No further information was provided about the roadster’s construction, condition, ownership history, or the circumstances of its appearance in the film. The auction was due to close Friday, but the date of that closing was not given.
