Sarasota Magazine’s Best of Sarasota program has highlighted local businesses, professionals, and community organizations since 1991. The publication reported that its 2026 program received more than 700,000 votes across 264 categories, marking the largest response in the program’s history.

The certification complements Dr. Fano’s broader education and professional experience. A native Floridian, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science degrees at Life University.

Dr. Fano later served as a faculty member teaching chiropractic technique at Life University. His additional qualifications include Gonstead Diplomate status, certification as a Gonstead instructor, Gonstead Extremity Certification, and Webster Technique certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

He is a former president of the Gonstead Study Club and previously served on the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society board. Dr. Fano has also published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health and teaches other practitioners extremity chiropractic methods. He has practiced chiropractic for more than 17 years.
